How to Check Your Postrillo Plan Before Scheduling More Content

Postrillo how-to series · Guide 5 of 24

Your plan determines which tools and allowances are available, but different limits measure different things. Channel slots, monthly publishing activity and AI credits are not interchangeable. Check the relevant allowance before you add another account or build a larger publishing batch.

Before you start

Sign in to the correct workspace and confirm whether you are the owner or a team member. Workspace permissions can restrict an action even when the owner’s plan includes it. Start with the dashboard and current plan information rather than a remembered promotional offer.

1. Read the plan shown in your workspace

The dashboard and navigation show the current plan name and plan-management link. Use Manage plan to review the account’s available options. Read the actual billing terms before making a paid change; this guide does not require an upgrade to complete the first-post workflow.

2. Check channel capacity

Open Channels and read the displayed slots used and allowance. A network account type must also be supported and ready. More capacity does not make an unconfigured connection available, and a team member may still need the owner to connect an account.

3. Check publishing activity

Review the dashboard’s monthly allowance and publishing counts. Drafts and scheduled entries can appear in the activity being counted, so do not assume that only public posts use the visible allowance. Open the relevant records to understand the current month’s usage.

4. Separate credits from publishing

Available credits and plan credits used describe AI-related usage, not a guarantee of unlimited scheduled posts. Review a tool’s availability and cost before generating. You can write your own caption and use the normal draft workflow without relying on AI generation.

A practical example

A small business adding a second social account should check channel slots first. A business preparing many posts should inspect publishing allowance. Someone repeatedly generating images should investigate credits. Each question has a different place to look.

If something does not look right

If an action is unavailable despite an apparent remaining allowance, check the team role, supported account type and feature access. Use the current pricing page for public comparisons. Avoid relying on old screenshots for prices, credit costs or included networks because plans can change.

What to check before moving on

Before expanding, you should know which limit matters, whether the workspace permits the action and whether any paid change is actually necessary.
